Title: Third Party Risk Analyst
Location: New York, NY /Tampa, FL
Duration: 6 months(possibility of extension)
Pay: $70-$75/ hr
Summary:
Third Party Risk is a global, first line team within the Markets Operational Risk & Control group and is responsible for developing, implementing firmwide programs, and overseeing the risks associated with the use of third parties and inter-affiliates. The team is also responsible for providing front to back connectivity to ensure third-party risk activities operate within Risk Appetite.
The successful candidate will require a comprehensive understanding of third-party risk lifecycle management concepts with specific emphasis on inter-dealer brokers, financial markets infrastructure and commodity third party suppliers.
As a Third-Party Risk Management Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Third-Party Management Policy and Alternative Control Framework Third Party Management Standard across Markets. You will focus on implementing supplier level risk assessments and be required to execute various high visibility cross-functional projects by managing within the project plan and working with key partners.
Key responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of the Third-Party Management Policy and Alternative Control Framework Third Party Management Standard across Markets.
• Drive the completion of third-party risk assessments partnering with Market Business Activity Owners and internal functions.
• Promote and deliver continuous training and awareness of the program to the Markets Business.
• Identify, monitor, track and escalate issues requiring remediation.
• Ensure the program expectations are met and exceeded including relationships being captured in a centralized inventory and risk assessments being performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Build and maintaining an excellent relationship with Markets Business Activity Owners, Enterprise Third Party Management, Operational Risk Management and other stakeholders.
• Assist in creating and submitting timely Governance updates on progress against plan, key issues identified and escalating accordingly.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
• Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in Third-Party Management, with knowledge of assessing third party risk and associated control requirements within a global financial services organization.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, process improvement, change management, governance, and technology within regulated and complex environment.
• Ability to work as part of a global team and independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively interact with and influence management and lines of defense partners.
• Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities through the effective use of time management and organizational techniques.
• Energetic with a proven record for risk management innovation, design, and technology with proven success implementing large-scale initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
• Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, ACCA, CISA or similar) preferred
